Las Americas Immigrant Advocacy Center has always relied on talented volunteers to maximize its efficiency. In fact, hundreds of volunteers of all ages and backgrounds have come through Las Americas in various capacity and we are grateful for their help. We are always in need of volunteers, from office workers to legal assistants, from our once-a-month volunteers to daily workers. Community members. Community members have helped us tremendously by answering phones and greeting prospective clients, handling light administrative work and more.
Students. There are many exciting internship possibilities at Las Americas, whether you are a social worker, law student, or doctoral candidate. Internships are available in the following specialties:
- Community organizing
- Fundraising and marketing
- Public relations
- Administrative, including financial
Clerking. Las Americas offers law students the opportunity to work in the trenches and a dose of community lawyering. Every summer, law students from across the country come to give their time to Las Americas.

Attorneys . If you are an attorney, paralegal, or legal assistant consider donating your services. We are always in need of lawyers to help the indigent. We may ask you to take a pro bono case in many fields.
