- Community Organizing Internship - learn how to organized and become involved in our women's group M.U.J.E.R, our raid response group the El Paso Immigration and Raid Response Taskforce, and our work with low-income workers in South El Paso. Two internships available.

- Development Intern - learn the intricacies of fundraising, grant writing and management. Taking applications now for Spring 2010 and Summer 2010 positions.
- Legal Intern (NON-LAW STUDENTS)- Get a hands-on experience deep in the trenches of immigration law with Las Americas attorneys as they fight for justice. Great for pre-law students or those with an inkling for law school. Only 2 spots will be available for Spring 2010 and two in Summer 2010. Now taking applications for both.
- Public Relations Intern - learn the basics of public relations for a non-profit legal services. Great for communications, marketing, and public relations majors. Now taking applications. One position available for Spring 2010 and Summer 2010.
- Administrative/Executive Assistant Intern - learn the basics of nonprofit administration, marketing, accounting, and human resources. Perfect for MPA students. Learn the rope of managing a nonprofit. Interviewing now. Position open until filled.
- Battered Immigrant Women's Leadership Program Intern - - learn how to community organize with battered immigrant women, outreach, teach leadership. Open until filled.

Las Americas offers law students the opportunity to work in the trenches and a dose of community lawyering. Every summer, law students from across the country come to give their time to Las Americas.
APPLYING FOR A CLERKSHIP: Send a letter of interest stating why you want to work at Las Americas, a copy of your resume with three references. You may include a letter of recommendation, but it is not mandatory. NOTE: WE ARE NOT INTERESTED IN TRAINING FUTURE I.C.E. ATTORNEYS.
