Crime Victims

Our Crime Victims Program provides aide to undocumented women and men who are trying to escape domestic violence, who are victims of human trafficking, or are victims of a serious crime that violated United States law. Christina Garcia is our full time legal coordinator for the program and is an accredited representative by the Board of Immigration Appeals. Ms. Garcia assists victims of crime and violence by aiding victims through legal intake and consultation and in the petitioning process. Often when working with victims other needs must be addressed to ensure the safety of the client and success in the application such as housing or shelter referrals, and counseling referrals just to name a few. Through this process, clients are able to obtain deferred action and lawful status, work permits, and many are able to apply for their lawful permanent residency through the program.
