Community Organizing
Las Americas has always viewed legal services as a ilimiting people's journey to self-help. Legal services often interferes with systemic change.
Most victories in legal services come to individuals. Legal services put a bandaid on the wound, but does not do anything to try to cure the disease.
For this reason, Las Americas uses communty organizing.
