She is committed to contributing to Las Americas’ pursuit of due process, justice, and fair treatment of the families it serves. In the famous words of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in his Letter From the Birmingham Jail, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.”
