Evangelina Ramirez, or Eva, greets people when they come through the front door of the Las Americas office. She is the smiling face you see first. Eva first volunteered at Las Americas through AARP, before becoming a permanent employee in 2016.
Eva studied in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and worked at the National Bank of Mexico. She married her husband in Chihuahua, Mexico and is very dedicated to her family. Eva enjoys helping others and always felt that helping people “was something God had entrusted me to do with my life.” She served as a Foster Grandparents volunteer and later volunteered with AARP Foundation program (SCSEP) VNA and at Project Bravo.
