The City of El Paso Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) Progam presents the "Creating Resiliency among Vulnerable Populations Conference" to bring agencies and organizations together for discussion, networking, and awareness on issues related to vulnerable populations.
The one-day conference will include presentations on a variety of preparedness topics for persons with access and functional needs such as; mobility, learning and cognitive issues, socioeconomic impacts related to migrant and undocumented immigrants, as well as special preparedness considerations for children and adolescents.
Exhibit booths will provide educational materials and information about resources that are available for people with access and functional needs.
Target audience includes local and county officials, emergency mangers, outreach coordinators, first responders, healthcare workers, military members, as well as agencies and organizations that serve vulnerable populations.
